Womb of our Unci Maka began her contractions as the earth opened, exposing the buried children, our Missing and Murdered Innocence found in the bones of our youngest stolen who died in the Indian Boarding Schools.
In that pain the Mama Red Healing Tipi heard those cries, her Prayer journeys far and wide as she carries the handprints of Surviving relatives who have lost a loved one, in their honor. Her medicine calls us into Ceremony opening a sacred space to share, grieve, and heal our broken hearts and together rise as a community wherever she goes.
We acknowledge the Sacred Responsibility of the Red Tipi Keepers, who with great reverence, humility and compassionate heart tend to her care. Raise her to offer a safe space for healing communities and give visibility to unseen and unheard Missing and Murdered.
With deep Prayer and Elders Council the Vision of our Sacred Red Tipis gave birth to this Children’s Healing Lodge that was painted Orange In Remembrance of little ones.
On this Day, Sept 30, 2021 on the ancestral homelands of our Tongva relatives, in Solidarity with All Our Relations, Way of the Sacred Mountain was humbled to bring this baby tipi into the family of Red Tipis that carry the Prayers of our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives.
It was a Honor to be invited by our beautiful sister, Lydia Ileliya Ester Ponce who took the lead and called for Prayerful Action at the Canadian Consulate, gathered the children’s shoes to honor the brave ones, 215 children who opened the way for the truth to see the light of day, leading to 6509 more native children’s graves found across Turtle Island. The provoking visual of children’s shoes to remind them what they took from all of us and the horrific crimes against our most vulnerable.
It was an Honor for us, Way of the Sacred Mountain to share in this beautiful collaborative action with Idle No More SoCal, Red Earth Defense along with Noemi Aidee in all organizing efforts. Eyaay ahun. May we continue in kindness, generosity and respect, the Way of our Ancestors. ???
